“Julie Announces her USA Tour 2014 ”

It’s hard to believe that it will be almost a full year since Julie’s last Tour in the USA in 2013, when she returns again this year to perform in October.  We are, therefore, delighted to announce that Julie will be following up her highly successful ‘Spring & Fall Tours’ in the USA last year, with her ‘USA Tour 2014’.

Although the Tour will continue under the general theme of ‘Music of the Scottish Isles’,  Julie and the band (which comprises long standing comrades Éamon Doorley, Duncan Chisholm and Tony Byrne), will be performing music and songs from her already highly acclaimed new studio album ‘Gach sgeul’ (‘Every story’); as well as many favourites from previous award winning albums.

Announcing her Tour plans, Julie said:
“I am delighted to be returning to the USA again after a year’s absence and I am especially excited that we will be performing the new album material throughout the Tour.  I am also looking forward to performing in many new venues in different States from the last Tour; and meeting up with friends, fans and hopefully, folks who will be new to my concerts.”

The Tour; which will include 13 dates/venues within a 16 day period covering 10 States; will commence on Tuesday 7 October 2014 in Memphis, Tennessee, then south to Meridian, Mississippi, on Friday 10 October, before moving through the States of Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas (3 dates), south west to Arizona, north east to Minnesota (2 dates), then back east for the final concert of the Tour on Saturday 25 October 2014 in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Full Tour dates, venue and ticket details, etc, can be found as ever at Julie’s ‘Tour Dates’ page. *

(* Please note that many of the venues may not yet have Julie’s US Tour concerts listed or have tickets on sale at this early stage, but please keep checking the web-links for them to go ‘live’ in due course.)
